If you missed the first production of Grassy Freewill Baptist’s drama, “Heaven’s Gates or Hell’s Fury,” you have another opportunity to view this stirring dramatization of the Judgment Day!
Do you ever wonder what will happen after you take your final breath? This play explores just that topic. Imagine being granted access to a wonderful worry-free heaven OR being cast into Satan’s fiery hell. Both scenarios are played out as everyday, common people meet their end. What would happen to you if today were Judgment Day?

The cast of the play has worked very hard and donated many hours of their time on the presentation of the play. Please come and bring your family and friends. This is free to the public.
In the event that we can’t get everyone in at this showing, we will offer a repeat performance. If you have any questions, please call Brad Williamson, pastor of the Grassy FWB Church at 606-353-8137.
Sunday School Awareness Month
Brad Williamson, pastor of Grassy Freewill Baptist, has designated the month of April as Sunday School Awareness month.
Through the month of April, special emphasis will be placed on the importance of adults and children attending Sunday School regularly. Sunday School is vital for Christians and their families so adults can continually grow in the knowledge of God’s word, while children learn basic Bible stories and Christian values.
This April, the theme will be “Sailing Closer to God” with a FriendSHIP Sunday School Rally on May 2.
Grassy FWB’s Sunday School has classes from pre-school to adults.
Crusade in the Mountains
We would like to invite everyone to our fourth annual “Crusade in the Mountains.” It will be held June 7-11 at the Belfry Fire Department.
About four years ago Brother Donnie Williamson had a vision of uniting all area churches and to tear down the walls of different denominations. This has been a big success in the last three years.
There will be special singing nightly, while the preaching will be by Outreach Ministries with Bro. Calvin and Calvin Ray Evans. This is all free to the public.

A Working Couple
At Grassy Freewill Baptist, we have many people who give their time and resources to the Sunday School. In this issue, we would like to recognize Keith and Debbie Blackburn for their many years of services as office holder and teacher.
Keith has served as treasurer many years before becoming superintendent, and presently serves as treasurer. Debbie is a teacher in our primary class. However, not only is she a gifted teacher, but also a skilled seamstress and has made many costumes for plays and VBS.
Keith and Debbie have a daughter, Paula, and a grandson Brady. Our thanks to the Blackburns for their dedication to Sunday school.
Sunday School Plans VBS
Grassy Sunday School has scheduled the date for Vacation Bible School to be June 21-25.
This year’s theme will be “Under God’s Big Top.” Lessons will be taught each night, with refreshments and games fr everyone.
Gary and Pam Coleman will be our VBS directors. If you have a desire to work in VBS, please contact them. There’s a job for everyone.
